Terms of Service

By using PepperLedger, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). PepperLedger is operated by Sprout Financial Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario, Canada, doing business as Realee AI (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: hello@realee.ai.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

PepperLedger is an educational protocol logging and AI coaching tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or prescribe treatment. All protocols are user-defined.

You must be 18 years or older to use PepperLedger. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share credentials with any third party. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@realee.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to create multiple accounts to circumvent Free tier limits or other restrictions.

Termination. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a government authority, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk of harm. You may close your account at any time through account settings or by emailing hello@realee.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold an active paid subscription, we will issue a prorated refund for any unused portion of the current billing period.

PepperLedger offers a Free tier and a Pro subscription. Every new account receives 23 days of full Pro access at no charge — no credit card required. After the trial, if you have not subscribed, your account converts permanently to the Free tier. This is a tier downgrade, not a lockout — Free access continues indefinitely.

Pro pricing: USD $25/month (plus applicable taxes where required), billed in U.S. dollars each month.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@realee.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in the current period.

Refunds. Except as required by applicable mandatory law — including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and other applicable consumer protection legislation — all fees are non-refundable. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact hello@realee.ai within 30 days of the relevant charge.

Price changes. We will notify existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. PepperLedger does not store your full card number. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Ontario residents: your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 are not limited by these Terms. California residents: auto-renewal terms above are provided pursuant to the California Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600 et seq.).

You own your protocol data. We do not claim rights to the content you enter. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

By submitting content, you grant Sprout Financial Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. We may use aggregated, de-identified, and anonymized data derived from user activity — with no personal identifiers — to improve the Service and develop new features.

Pro subscribers can export their full ledger at any time. We will provide a data export on request for any user upon account deletion.

You agree not to use PepperLedger to:

• Violate any applicable federal, provincial, state, or local law or regulation
• Rely on the AI Coach as a substitute for qualified medical, pharmacological, or legal advice
• Log protocols involving controlled substances where such conduct constitutes a criminal offence in your jurisdiction
• Harass, harm, threaten, or intimidate any person
• Upload, transmit, or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service or its AI models
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without express written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Develop or assist in developing a competing product or service
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system, network, or database connected to the Service
• Circumvent any access controls, feature restrictions, or subscription limits
• Sell, sublicense, or resell access to the Service to any third party
• Misrepresent PepperLedger as a medical device or licensed provider

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

The Service — including all software, AI models, algorithms, design, user interface, text, and documentation — is owned by or licensed to Sprout Financial Inc. and protected by copyright, trade secret, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive no ownership interest in any of the foregoing.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. If you submit feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that feedback without any obligation to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SPROUT FINANCIAL INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, AND ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY AI COACH OUTPUT OR EDUCATIONAL CONTENT.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS INHERENTLY UNCERTAIN AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS. YOU RELY ON ANY AI COACH OUTPUT ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SPROUT FINANCIAL INC.’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) USD $100.00.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SPROUT FINANCIAL INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR PERSONAL INJURY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

PEPPERLEDGER SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ADVERSE HEALTH EFFECT, DEATH, OR OTHER HARM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ANY COMPOUND, PEPTIDE, OR SUBSTANCE.

Nothing above limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sprout Financial Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your user content, your use of any compound or substance, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

Sprout Financial Inc. shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, pandemic, war, government action, fire, flood, cyberattacks, cloud infrastructure failures, or internet outages. Force majeure does not excuse payment obligations.

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, close your account before the effective date.
